Patricia J. Hollen, PhD, RN, FAAN holds the Malvina Yuille Boyd Professor of Oncology Nursing Endowed Chair in the School of Nursing and a joint appointment as Professor of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine. Her research has focused on both adolescents and adults. She is currently co-principal investigator of a $2 million NIH/NCI multisite, randomized clinical trial that will test the use of a decision aid for patients with advanced lung cancer coupled with a validated, electronic quality of life measure to provide immediate results over the treatment period.
