  • You're a high school graduate, or will be soon (traditional BSN for first-year entry)
  • You're a transfer student from another college or university (external transfer)
  • You're a current UVA student from another major (internal transfer).
  • You’re a registered nurse (RN) with an associate's degree or diploma and would like to advance your career or professional commitment to nursing (RN to BSN)

Admissions Deadlines

Most nursing degree programs have specific admission application deadlines. You are welcome to submit the online application before the dates listed below. The undergraduate, MSN and DNP admissions committees start reviewing files after the set deadlines.

The PhD in Nursing committee will start to review applications before the December deadline.
