Biography

William Russell is a master’s prepared Registered Nurse who recently joined the University of Virginia School of Nursing as clinical instructor for fourth-year nursing students. He has 23 years experience in Psychiatric Nursing including 7 years as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at the University of Rochester, School of Nursing in Rochester NY.  He is employed by the UVA Health System as a Psychiatric Nurse on the inpatient Psychiatric Care Unit. Mr. Russell is responsible for developing the staff education program on the unit in addition to his patient care responsibilities.
