Biography

William started working as the Instructional Designer at the School of Nursing in August 2022. He approaches design through a lens of learning through play. He encourages his collaborators to take time to play and reserve a space to reflect. Through this process we learn about our authentic teaching selves. This allows us to maintain our individuality and creativity when incorporating best practices.

 

William completed his PhD in Public Communication from Georgia State University in December 2022. While in Georgia he taught college courses in The Fundamentals of Human Communication and Public Speaking. His dissertation, Memory in the time of COVID, examined characteristics of memory in accordance with the COVID-19 pandemic. Before his doctorate, he received an MA from Virginia Tech and a BS from Bridgewater College.
