WHY UVA?

"To be the best, you must build on a great foundation; this is why UVA was the only university I applied to for my MSN and DNP programs."

WHY EARN A DNP?

"My passion, education, and experience in acute care and preventative health were on opposite ends of the spectrum; by obtaining my DNP, I can pull it all together with a bird's eye view. I am learning how to effectively frame clinical questions, identify problems, implement improvement, and collaborate across all aspects of healthcare systems. Pursuing a DNP will allow me to make sustainable changes throughout the healthcare field and fulfill my passions by removing limitations."

UVA SCHOOL OF NURSING IN A SINGLE WORD?

"Calibrated. [Faculty and staff] minimize uncertainty by ensuring our accuracy. The School also ensures our paths are set (calibrated) to our individual goals. My journey at the School of Nursing has altered my thinking and challenged me to step out of my comfort zone to be the best version of myself."
