Global Initiatives
We enthusiastically prepare students to embrace the challenges and opportunities of our global community.
During normal, non-pandemic times, two semester-long study abroad opportunities are available to nursing students: one in New Zealand, at the University of Auckland, and another in Australia, at the University of Queensland. Several J-Term courses are also available to students, including one in Roatan, Honduras, with associate professor Emma Mitchell. Additional opportunities are available through the Center for Global Health, via independent study, through mentored research, and through a Global Sustainability minor.
We are eager to continue our work again on the global stage when it is safe and appropriate to do so.
