The 2022 Suturing Workshop provides current evidence-based information about wound management and suturing techniques for advanced practice providers (APPs). Participants in this workshop will refresh and enhance their suturing skills through individualized instruction and coaching.

Location: UVA School of Nursing Mary Morton Parsons Clinical Simulation Learning Center

Target Audience: Advanced practice nurses and physician assistants.

Desired Outcomes/Educational Objectives

Through participation in this virtual conference, participants will:

  • Apply evidence-based wound management and closure approaches for commonly encountered wounds
  • Competently employ various suture techniques to provide primary wound closure
  • Provide appropriate patient education for wound care and follow-up

FEES: Enrollment limited to 16 people!

  • UVA Employees — $85, $125 after February 28th
