Molly Yeo describes how she has grown from the culture at UVA School of Nursing

WHY UVA, AND WHY NURSING?

"At UVA, I’ve found a culture of pursuing excellence for the greater good. It’s not just what we do but how we do it that matters. Honor, service, and excellence are values that define our university. Here, I’ve grown not only in skill but also in heart. I chose nursing because, even on the hardest day, it is a privilege to care for someone and bear witness to some of the happiest and saddest moments of a life."

UVA SCHOOL OF NURSING IN A WORD

"OPPORTUNITIES. At the School of Nursing, I’ve found so many opportunities to grow, be challenged, lead, and serve. I’ve discovered interests and gifts in myself that I never knew I had; I’ve done things I didn’t think I was capable of. I’ve met inspiring faculty and classmates who are dedicated to being helpers in the world. Anything you want to pursue in nursing, you’ll find here."
