Please join us for 2019 UVA Controversies in Liver Disease and Liver Transplantation. Experts plan to cover topics that are highly relevant for practicing gastroenterologists, hepatologists, primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and others involved with treating liver disease patients before and after transplantation. Discussions will include nutrition, frailty and deconditioning in the transplant patient; management of the pretransplant candidate; model end stage liver disease (MELD) and organ allocation changes; timing of transplant referrals; living donation updates; medical management of the transplant recipient; a mock selection committee and panel discussions.
