Brown Bag Lunch Series: A Monthly Series to Explore Culture Change, Positive Practices, and Well Being
Thursday, Feb 27, 2020 from 12:00-1:00pm | Pinn Hall Meeting Room 1
Appreciative Practices in Action: Building Capacity from the Bedside to the Community.
How do Appreciative Inquiry and Appreciative Practices play out in the real world? Center for Appreciative Practices team members will share how and where they have taken this work into the real world, and we’ll invite the audience to share their experiences, too. Examples will range from patient care at the bedside to parenting, to an an exciting project in Limpopo, South Africa. We hope you’ll be able to join us for lunch and uplifting conversation.
Lunch is provided on first-come basis at 12pm. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join us on the last Thursday of each month.
We’re going back to our roots! Join us for an hour of conversation and fellowship. Many of you may remember the origins of Appreciative Inquiry in our health system – we gathered monthly to share ideas, learn from each other, ask questions, and dream big (and small). We were culture change warriors, determined to create spaces for meaningful work and extraordinary experiences for our patients.
Let’s continue the conversation. If you were with us in the early days, join us! If you are new to appreciative conversations and the generative nature of this work, join us! If you just want to gather with some positive and energized colleagues, join us!
