About the film:
In 2017, Brian Wallach and his wife Sandra’s lives drastically changed. Shortly after welcoming their newborn daughter, Brian received a devastating diagnosis of ALS, with doctors giving him roughly six months to live. Once a power couple working for the Obama Administration, the two now faced the anxieties of what Brian’s diagnosis would mean for their family. Their concerns grew as they realized they must navigate the diagnosis within a healthcare system plagued by apathetic doctors and exploitative non-profits. Six years later, this determined couple, unwilling to surrender their family to despair, has taken their battle to Washington, D.C., where they advocate for the millions of patients seeking a voice amidst a crumbling healthcare system. No Ordinary Campaign chronicles one couple’s efforts to spark a healthcare revolution, demonstrating that victory can be achieved even when the odds seem insurmountable.
