Not a nurse but always wanted to be? Our award-winning CNL master's program—one of the nation’s top-ranked programs—is for you.
A Clinical Nurse Leader is a master’s educated nurse prepared to practice across the continuum of care within any healthcare setting. Developed by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing in collaboration with leaders from healthcare practice and education, the CNL role identifies, assesses, and addresses critical needs to improve patient care quality and outcomes.
UVA’s award-winning CNL program—top-ranked by US News & World Report—is two years of full-time study available for students with at least a bachelor’s degree in another field who is interested in pivoting into nursing. More information about requirements, prerequisites, financial aid, and application procedures is available on our Clinical Nurse Leader web site, including a page of frequently asked questions.
Come to the session to learn more about the CNL, meet some of our faculty and staff, and learn about the ample available financial aid available to CNL students at UVA.
You will receive a Zoom link to the session by email the day before the session begins. Please email Jeanette Wangler, admissions coordinator, with any questions or concerns (email@example.com).
