Nursing Ventures Entrepreneurial Resource Center

The Nursing Ventures Entrepreneurial Resource Center is a place for budding Nurse Entrepreneurs to find resources and guidance in getting new health care products developed and into productions.

The Resource Center is a place where nurses can get assistance thinking through their ideas. The Resource Center helps nurses to navigate the product development system. Ultimately, the Center can help nurses to think like entrepreneurs. Too often, nurses have innovative ideas that they do not believe they can develop because they are “just a nurse.”

The Resource Center is for nurses who have a great idea for a product, but have little time to search out the information on the technicalities or and procedures. The Center helps nurses develop the ideas that they might otherwise give away free to product representatives.

The Center has a wide variety of links to organizations that assist in product and small business development. There are excellent resources within the University of Virginia and within the region, that the Center can introduce to the nurse entrepreneur.

The Center provides individual guidance, internet resources, and connections to business development experts to assist nursing entrepreneurs realize their aspirations!
