Our diverse student body participates in clinical practice, community service, and nursing research. Leadership is fostered through curriculum and through organizations such as Student Nurses Association of Virginia (SNAV), the Beta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, Nursing Students Without Borders (NSWB) founded here in 1999, Men Advancing Nursing (MAN), and Minorities in Nursing Today (MINT). International study and service opportunities are continuously expanding.
Our faculty, a diverse community of clinicians, educators, and researchers are dedicated to clinical practice and seek out innovations in research and healthcare to bring better care to people.
