The University of Virginia School of Nursing hosted its annual Career Fair on Monday, November 26, 2012, from 5-7pm. This event provided the opportunity for recruiters to meet, interview and interact with many of the best and brightest student nurses in Virginia. Over 90 students, including individuals from other area colleges and universities, attended the event. UVA will have approximately 90 graduating BSNs in May 2013, 80 third-year students looking for summer internships, 30 Direct Entry MSN: Clinical Nurse Leader students graduating in May 2013, and approximately 80 graduating specialty MSN students.  

 

The University of Virginia conducts its career fair in conjunction with other schools of nursing in the Mid-Atlantic region to create a 9-day/10 school 'circuit'. Other nursing schools on the 'circuit' include Johns Hopkins, Maryland, Howard, Georgetown, Catholic, the University of Pennsylvania, Virginia Commonwealth University, New York University, and Boston College.
