International Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of the School of Nursing Alumni Association and donors to the School of Nursing Endowment for International Initiatives, School of Nursing students and faculty can apply for grants to help defray some of the costs of international academic and exchange programs. Students and faculty can submit requests (in general, up to $1,000).
Alumni Council International Scholarships
Applications should be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Student Services (OASS) by April 1 of each year. Support is given to full-time nursing students (graduate or undergraduate) to defer some of their tuition or travel expenses for an international program. The program must be an academic credit awarding program – monies are not awarded for overseas internships, volunteer, or research experiences. Priority in funding is given to students who are receiving financial assistance from the University or federal sources. Click here for the application. For more information, please contact Doris Greiner.
Endowment for International Initiatives
The Endowment for International Initiatives provides support to School of Nursing students and faculty who are undertaking international initiatives. These can be projects, research endeavors, or academic programs overseas. Requests for support from the endowment can be made throughout the academic year. For more information, please contact Dr. Doris Greiner, Director of Foundation and International Initiatives.
