Undergrad info

Undergraduate Students

The Office of Student Financial Services, located at 918 Emmet Street, assists students who demonstrate a need for financial aid and who submit complete applications by the deadline. Most forms of financial aid to undergraduate students are administered through the Office of Student Financial Services. These include grants, scholarships, loans, work-study programs, part-time employment and other special programs.
The School of Nursing Office of Admissions and Student Services maintains some information on government and private programs that aid students. In addition, the Office of Admissions and Student Services coordinates the awarding of more than 50 undergraduate need-based nursing scholarships each year. Once an offer of admission is made, a financial aid application for undergraduates will be sent via email or US mail.
For all of the financial aid programs listed above, students are required to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the College Scholarship Service.
Information about all these sources of financial aid is available in the current Undergraduate Record or on the UVa Financial Aid website. Please pay particular attention to published deadlines.
Some merit awards (financial need not considered) are available, funded by the Nursing Alumni Association.
