Our diverse student body participates in nursing research, clinical practice, and community service. Leadership is fostered through curriculum and through organizations such as Student Nurses Association of Virginia (SNAV), the Beta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, Nursing Students Without Borders (NSWB) founded here in 1999, Men in Nursing, and in the Black Nursing Students Association (BNSA). International study, research, and service opportunities are continuously expanding.
